2014 Year In Review
Journey4YOUth has worked in Kaswanga Village Kenya now for 4 1/2 years. After many years of giving food we have decided to start investing in families so they can begin to meet their own needs and in return pour into the lives of their neighbors.
We have decided to give soft loans to 35 families to help them launch a small business or farming project. Each loan given will be paid forward to another family in need in two years time.

HELP US REACH THESE GOALS NOW
Help Send Teens to High School
Help us offer high school sponsorships to the 6 children who just finished grade 8. Up until now Journey4YOUth has provided education to children from nursery age to 8th grade. Depending on the school high school can cost anywhere between $350-$700 a year making if difficult for many children to go to school beyond 8th grade.

Give Risper the Gift of Clean Water
Risper is becoming too weak to walk to the lake several times a day to collect water and the lake water is heavily polluted and leads to parasites and many sicknesses. Journey4YOUth would like to instal a 3000 liter rain water tank with gutters next to Risper's home. This tank will be filled after just two rains and will provide clean drinking water for her and the children she cares for. learn more |
The Following Women are Waiting for Funding to Launch their Small Business
RuthRuth is requesting a loan of $1060 to become trained
in HIV testing and counseling. Ruth’s plan is unique as her priority is
for her community and not for herself. Instead of paying her loan back
to one family she will volunteer 3 days a week to her community,
providing free HIV testing and counseling.
